Every year I encourage folks to read their Bibles through. It is a surprisingly easy task if one decides to do it. Here is a plan that might work better for some than simply starting at the beginning and ploughing through to Revelation. In a similar vein Read the Bible for Life: Your Guide to Understanding and Living God’s Word is $2.99 in the Kindle and Nook format. On the Amazon site, 11 people reviewed the book and all of them rated it at 5 stars.

It always kind of irks me when people say that Christianity is about a relationship and not a religion. Okay, I understand the emphasis but what about the verses that talk about “religion?” Here Erik Raymond offers some helpful balance to the issue.
