Here is a very good article on how the gospel enable us to overcome gluttony. Even if gluttony isn’t your sin of choice, the piece offers insight about any sin that might enslave someone. The gospel is for Christians. The gospel sanctifies.

I never hear anyone complain about singing repetitive songs on Sunday mornings. I will confess that sometimes they frustrate me. It’s like when I tell you a story I’ve already told you (we all do this). I got it! Why repeat yourself? Here is some help for those who might struggle as I do with the idea of singing the same line over and over.

One a purely mundane issue, why do batteries degrade over time? Frustrating!

Finally, Piper’s Jesus: The Only Way to God–Must You Hear the Gospel to be Saved? is free in Kindle and Nook format.

  1. Thank you for the kindle book:) The gluttony article was good. It was good timing to remind me to only have 1 cup of chili tonight at Jubilee! Balancing food for all of us diabetics out there is a decision made every 3 hrs everyday. God help us stay on track. That was a great reminder that applies to all areas of life actually. Have a great evening
