Parenting, like other family-oriented sports, is a difficult task. It’s hard enough to keep oneself heading in the right direction. But kids too? It’s exhausting. Here a link to a short piece about balancing law and gospel in our parenting.

Last night I was reviewing my Wish List at Amazon and noticed one of the books on the list was only $0.99 in the Kindle format. It’s called The Gospel Is For Christians. Needless to say I immediately splurged. It looks very good. One of the criticisms of my ministry here has been that I stress the gospel too much. After all, isn’t the gospel only for beginners? Yeah, right.

I think we need more signs like this:
